The Jim Clark Rally in the Scottish Borders has been cancelled with immediate effect, Police Scotland have said.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that a number of spectators have been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle.
The emergency services are at the scene, at Little Swinton near Coldstream.
It is believed that an air ambulance has been sent to the crash
