Ex-Everton and Fulham defender Johnny Heitinga has joined Hertha Berlin on a two-year deal.
The Dutchman moved to Craven Cottage on a short-term deal in January last year but was unable to provide the required boost as Felix Magath's men were relegated.
And now he has joined the Bundesliga club on a free transfer after completing a medical earlier today.
He said: "I was desperate to play in the Bundesliga, that's why I'm really looking forward to playing for Hertha."
"I'm looking forward to meeting the team and their terrific fans."
