A tourist had to be stretchered off one of Scotland's highest mountains after hurting his ankle while climbing - in flip-flops.
The man and two friends were exploring Aonach Mor near Fort William when he slipped.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue team were called out.
A message on the team's Facebook page said: "Well he had never seen snow before so why not give it a go in yer bare feet and sandals!!!"
It is understood the men took the gondola up the mountain - a sister peak of the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis - on Wednesday and set off to reach a snow patch.
One of the injured man's companions was bare-foot when the rescue team reached them, and the other was wearing trainers.
Rescue team leader John Stevenson told the Press and Journal newspaper: "We told them next time they come back to Scotland to stand on snow they should wear something more appropriate, like a good pair of boots."
Aonach Mor is 4,006ft (1,221m) and forms part of the Nevis Range ski resort.
