Alban the teddy bear has travelled where no bear has travalled before. The mascot of St Alban's primary school in Cambridge was attached to a balloon and lifted up into the stratosphere to a dizzying height of 120,000ft - nearly 23 miles high. A camera attached to the balloon took a stunning picture of him as he soared through space at 174km an hour. A remotely-controlled charge was then triggered at 'mission control' in the school to bring Alban and the balloon back. His four-hour flight ended when he landed safely in a field at Crewe, Cheshire around 125 miles away
