SRI-LANKAN NAVY ARREST 73 INDIAN FISHERMEN




Sri Lankan Navy for allegedly fishing in their waters have arrested 73 Indian fishermen.The arrest of President Mahinda Rajapaksa ordered the release of 33 Indian fishermen have been just a few days later.
Navy spokesman Kosala Warnakulsurya quoting Xinhua said Sunday that 41 Talimannar waters north Indians were captured with seven boats.While the other eight boats including 32 fishermen were arrested in the north, near Delft island. He caught for the upcoming action fishermen were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Sri Lanka to express goodwill towards the new Indian government, the President ordered the release of 33 fishermen. He was arrested May 31 near Kachatheevu. Sri Lankan fishermen instead of leaving their country's fishermen have accused India.
